An access review workbook ready to use

Centralise permissions, owners and review decisions in a structured file. The template covers the access register, joiners and leavers, review campaigns and action tracking.

01 · Access register
02 · Joiners and leavers
Documentez les créations, modifications et suppressions d’accès pour chaque mouvement collaborateur.
03 · Review campaigns
Plan deadlines, assign reviewers and retain every decision for each permission.
04 · Action plan
Track removals, fixes and exceptions through closure, with an owner and target date.

A simple 5-step method

1. Define the scope. 2. Export accounts and permissions. 3. Have every access validated by its owner. 4. Track removals and corrections. 5. Archive decisions for audits.

How often should you review access?

A quarterly review fits critical applications and privileged roles. For less sensitive tools, a six-monthly or annual review may be enough, complemented by an immediate check for every joiner, internal move or leaver.

Prepare for ISO 27001 and NIS2 controls

The template helps demonstrate who has access, who approved it, when the decision was made and which corrective actions remain open. It provides a clear foundation for audits and access governance.
